The BoostAir® Type W adiabatic cooling wall is a fully industrial-grade, natural cooling solution designed for high-volume fresh air cooling in the most economical way.
The system requires no compressor, no refrigerant and no complex mechanical components — only water and fresh air (an exhaust fan is required). This makes the BoostAir® Type W one of the lowest operational cost cooling solutions for industrial halls.
Why does adiabatic cooling work so effectively?

BoostAir® Type W – cooling performance in the 10–40 °C outdoor temperature range.
When the outdoor temperature is high and the relative humidity is low, the air is capable of absorbing a significant amount of heat. The BoostAir® Type W adiabatic cooling wall takes advantage of this physical principle:
- outdoor air flows through the surface of the wetted evaporative medium,
- the water evaporates,
- evaporation requires heat, which is extracted from the air,
- the cooled air temperature can drop by 10–14 °C depending on the actual air conditions.
This process is natural, environmentally friendly and always supplies 100% fresh outdoor air.

The BoostAir® Type W adiabatic cooling wall is particularly effective in industrial environments where significant fresh air replacement is required due to heat generated by production processes. Since the system operates entirely using natural principles, it provides effective cooling with much lower energy consumption. The modular design allows fully customised system sizing based on the required airflow.

The operation of BoostAir® Type W is simple, efficient and easy to maintain:
- no built-in fan → airflow is provided by the existing exhaust system (additional fans can be installed if needed),
- no compressor → minimal energy consumption,
- no refrigerant → no leakage risk, no mandatory maintenance,
- 98% recyclable construction,
- the cooling wall complies with the VDI 6022 hygiene standard.
The in-house developed automatic control ensures that the surface of the evaporative medium dries once a day, preventing bacterial growth.
Secondary but highly valuable function: pre-cooling for fluid coolers
The BoostAir® Type W is especially effective when installed on the intake side of fluid coolers or heat pumps:
- cooling energy demand may decrease by 30–40%,
- equipment capacity increases,
